Deborah has followed her calling to share Touch Drawing, presenting workshops at numerous conferences and educational institutions. She has a unique way of holding space for people to dive deep into their souls. Integrating expressive arts modalities such as movement, group vocalizing, and writing, she crafts each workshop as a transformative experience. Deborah is currently taking a sabbatical from workshop travel. She is focusing on exploring new possibilities in her art and music. Her other priority is developing better support for Touch Drawing Facilitators and online workshops. Her gentle re-entry includes the workshops and events below.

The Parliament of World Religions – Reclaiming the Heart of Our Humanity

Deborah is honored to be Interpretive Artist at this landmark international event. The Parliament is the oldest, the largest, and the most inclusive gathering of people of all faith and traditions. The first Parliament took place in 1893. This historic event has taken place in Chicago, USA • Cape Town, South Africa • Barcelona, Spain • Melbourne, Australia – and now in Salt Lake City, Utah! 19th Touch Drawing Gathering
This 6 day retreat is designed to support you in a journey through expanding fields of awareness from personal, to interpersonal, to transpersonal. With Touch Drawing at the heart of each day, Deborah weaves deep sharing, vocalizing, movement and writing practice for a sacred expressive arts experience. Time in silence and nature balances the rich sense of creative community. People travel from all over for this! The Gathering has happened every summer for 18 years. After Deborah’s 2015 sabbatical, the Gathering will be different. In 2016, there might be new conditions for attending, such as an online program to support deepening your own Touch Drawing practice and bringing Touch Drawing into your work. It is time to bring the Gathering to the next level as a Facilitator support experience. Registration is not yet open, but you can fill out the form to notify us of your interest and receive priority notification.
