I am a shamanic herbalist living on South Whidbey Island. I am also a teacher, offering apprentices and mentorships to people. I continue to develop a deep, intimacy with the plants and the land here. 

I have had the original deck of soul cards for about 30 years. I met Deborah at an herbal conference and traded her for the deck.  I utilize the deck often with my apprentices and students, especially during the turn of the seasons like Summer and Winter Solstice. 

Something I have done for thirty years is that I have never looked through the deck at all the cards. (And I won’t let anyone else do that either.) This way I sometimes am surprised at the image when it appears, having not seen it before. 

I can picture one of my favorite cards from this deck. It’s a figure of a woman with a rose coming out of her mouth. Beautiful. Thank you Deborah….much love to you and everyone reading.
